In Jared Spool’s 11 minute screencast Case Study: A Discount Approach to Comparing Multiple Design Alternatives he used a Weighted Differences Matrix. In each row of the matrix a number represents the difference between the design alternative. In Assessing Weights for Users’ Needs Part 1 and Part 2 he provides more information on how to develop a weighted differences matrix.
